Brioche stitch pattern in two colors

Brioche stitch pattern fascinated me very much .I wanted to knit something in brioche stitch pattern in two colors.
I have already knit two caps in two color brioche but it was simple stitch.i wanted to knit something like sweater or lacy shawl in it. I hve some wool left from previous projects so I decided to knit a tunic for baby girl.i have used here sockmatician method of knitting brioche with both colors on one go
It is faster and saves a lot of time.

Peruvian embroidery cushion cover

Started a cushion cover with Peruvian embroidery.the embroidery is done in woolof3ply. In fishbone stitch.

Ties and pompom for spiral knitted cap

I have added i_chord ties and a colourful pom pom to finish the cap.

How to set curd in winter

 This method is useful when there is winter and you want to set curd in small quantity.

 Take some lukewarm milk and add some curd as starter.

 Take a casserole or hotpot and fill it half with some hot not boiling water.

 Then place the bowl of milk  mixed with starter inthe casserole.

 Close the lid and leave for 5_6hrs.

The curd is set.if it has not set,then empty the casserole  and refill with some hot water and repeat the process.it will hardly take half an hour.this method can also be used in summer if you want to set the curd in less time

Helix knitting tutorial

When we knit in round we are generally knitting in spiral.aswe are knitting in single color we didn't notice much difference.

     This method comes to great use when we want to knit single row stripes in round as in cap or maybe sweater etc .To knit single row stripes in flat  or with two Needle we hsve to cut the wool after every row and have to weave in so much ends.

  Tutorial

Let's say we have to knit single row stripes in three colours.in round.like the cap below.

Suppose we have to knit in 3. Colors red ,purpleand green.
                               
      Then we divide the no of stitches by three.and transfer it to three different dpns.insert a stitch marker to mark the starting and knit the stitches on 1st dpn with red,then change color and knit the stitches on second dpn with green and knit the stitches on third dpn with purple.

Now you have come to the start of second round.here you don't have to change color but start knitting the first dpn with same colour or purple.when you come to the end.you simply have to pick the red colour dangling already  there and start knitting the second dpn as shown in fig.note,* when you change color you should not cross the yarns as you normally do when changing Colors in knitting .when you have to change color the other yarn is already there to be taken and knit.amd you continue. 

This similar mehod can be modified accordingly to knit two ,four or multicolored single row stripes.Always remember that last dpn of the row and the first dpn of the next row is knit with same colour.
