Tunisian crochet baby cardigans

This is a top down baby cardigan in Tunisian crochet in tss or Tunisian simple  stitch.one sleeve is completed and I am knitting the second one.after that whole body will be done in one go.edges are curling due to Tunisian crochet.hence I have to add a border for neckline. for sleeves to avoid curl I have done a border of tunisian purl stitch.

I want to knit a sleeveless vest in entralac pattern .I bought this color of pure wool and knitted a swatch in the pattern.

 One sleeve is complete.upto the armholes the body is knitted in one piece.

For some time I wanted to do stranded knitting.so the search for the pattern on net.hounstooth pattern caught my eye but first I wanted to try this on some small project.so I started this cardigan for my 2year old niece.

Bullion stitch handkerchief

Down this handkerchief in bullion and other stitches and did a border in Spanish knotted feather stitch.all embroidery is done in six strands of stranded cotton thread.

Chicken scratch on large check

Sometimes ago I did chicken scratch on 1/6 inch check.it came out nice and this time I wanted to do something in large check.i brought this fabric from shop but the check was quite larger than I intended to buy .it was 1/2inch Check
I bought this 1/2 inch large check fabric from shop and also bought Perle cotton 8 size in blue and white colour.


But the thread was quite thin for this embroid

ery.(blue colour).i also tried using all six strands of embroidery floss.( Double cross stitch ) but it also was very thin .I also had acrylic thread in sea green colour of Perle 5 thickness.then I used local cotton crochet thread by doubling it .the double cross stitch and woven circles in white colour .this looks quite ok. But the woven circles are looking quite large.

Vest with crochet flower

This is a vest made in bubble stitch pattern. For front and neck border I have added crochet flowers.i have to incorporate these flowers as some of them are crocheted by my late mother.
