knitting cabled cap

knitted two caps.tis one i used garter stitchand something like short rows technique.

this one i knit using a pattern from net it used 50 gms of wool.









this is the sweater i posted earlier. but i ran out of purple wool in the middle and have to knit the remaining sweater in pink.

Knitting cap and some brazilian embroidery practice

 Knitted a cap . It is knitted sideways. It is to be stitched .

 Raised cup stitch is worked in one or two rows.cast on stitch is worked with a bead in the Centre  but I worked it wrong in placement and it came out of some weird shape

 

Here raised cup stitch is done with some heavier thread of shaded orange color and also some kamal kadai

Gloves fingerless

 Tried knitting fingerless gloves for my daughter.  After some trial it came out ok. It was very tiresome knitting fingers on dpn though.

Aari work

 Was practising aari work with single strand of silk thread. It was very fine and it took a lot of time to embroider a leaf .tht read also got entangled with hook and got fuzzy.

But needle painting with tambour needle on other blogs look so intimidating that I want to try it again and again.  For that fine work one may have to have the proper frame and needle also to achieve that so fisticuffs. Better luck next time .may be with two strands.

Kutchwork pillow cover

 Have added two small kutch work buttas to the pillow cover but still looking not good enough. I Think Have To Add Some morebuttas To It.

Close up of the butta but the colour has not come out well in the picture .I have also bought thread for working kutchwork on the single bed sheet of this pillow cover.  Lot of kutchwork to do .main problem is design transfer. Somehow all the squares come out to be of different sizes.

Thinking about lot s of things to do and doing nothing .thinkingA  lot and when it comes to planning every idea fizzles out .then I get fed up .done this kutchwork on pillow cover  .want to add some more motifs in different color .

Knitting bubble stitch

 Knitting a bubble stitch sweater for my niece. First I knitted a swatch in two colours. Somehow I didn't like the combination and started knitting the sweater with three colors .

Want to do a lot of things in embroidery and knitting but here we get only limited supplies. Hope to find the required things soon.
